Airplane Accidents

just wanted to know?

i was just wondering,why are some people affraid to fly?there are more car accidents and drive-by-shootings then airplane crashes.iam not giving a lecture or anything like that,i was just wondering.

Why will Americans sacrifice freedoms for safety in airplanes, but….?

…when it comes to driving, they won’t do the same?

Such as we let people speed and put lives at risk and countless people die everyday from car accidents, far more cars kill Americans than terrorists ever have or ever will. Yet we don’t care about our lives on the roads.

Where were you when you heard the news on September 11th, 2001?

I remember the morning of September 11th very vividly. I wasn’t working because I was still on maternity leave from having just had a baby 1 month prior. My husband was driving, we only had 1 car at the time and I wanted to keep the car for the day. We were waiting to make a left on the street that his job was on. When the light turned red before our car could make it across the intersection. My husband got very upset because he didn’t make it. Then on the radio they cut the music off and said the were going to make an important announcment. Thats when they mentioned that an airplane had crashed into the WTC. I figured it was an accident, but I felt an uncontrolable feeling of sadness for the people who were impacted. Little did I know, it wasn’t going to be just 50 or 60 people.

When I got home, I turned on the TV to watch the talk shows I had been keeping up with while I was home. Not one channel was showing regular programming. It was all news about what had happened. The
The news that the crash was a terrorist attack came at me too suddenly. It was too much to take in at once. My mind had trouble processing exactly what had happened. A few minutes later, my husband called. He said :

“Babe, it was terrorists. We’re probably going to war.”

The only thing on my mind was protecting my innocent children. I started feeling this unbearable feeling of guilt for having brought my children into this cruel world for my own selfish reasons. I called my mom crying hysterically. She was at work, but after seeing that I was inconsolable, she explained to her boss that she needed to talk to me, and she did. After talking for about 35 minutes, I had calmed down quite a bit. Thanks to my mom and her wisdom, I got through it.
After about a week of crying and mourning for the people who had lost a loved one, or lost their life, I wasn’t over it, but I had come to a realization that it takes a lot for our country to come together and love one another. We did that for about a year or so, but went back to our old hateful ways. Why is this? can someone explain?

Well…that’s my story about 9/11. It’s nothing big to most, but to me it is. My personal experience that is. Whats your experience?

Why does god help people do better at life and such…?

but doesn’t help them when they are in a terrible car accident or in an airplane crash, or when they have a heart attack?

He is just “choosing” who to help? Isn’t that a little prejudice and unfair?

What can we do not to hurt him, but we can’t afford it?

This is the situation in the past 3 months my hubby & I had a BAD time first our car was stoled, (it was found burned ) insurance haven’t pay us. My hubby lost his job few weeks after this, then I had an accident at home & couldn’t work for 3 weeks.Our savings who were not much were over soon, I being working now for almost 3 weeks & my hubby just stared working too.The problem is that now his EX wants for him 2 pay for the past 11/2 that is owed from child support & for 1/2 of the price of the new XBOX ($400 value)that she bougth for their 10yr old kid,cuz of his good grades in schoo.If my hubby doesn’t pay for the amount of
( $650.00), she is not letting her son come over for the summer, besides he has 2 pay for 2 way trip airplane ticket,another $250.It is not about the money except 4 the video game, the thing is at this moment we can’t afford it cuz of our situation,but his kid now is sad cuz his mom is not let him come even if we pay she says is too late now.What 2 do??

When the first plane hit, did you think it was a freak accident of some kind?

I think we all realized after the second plane hit, what was happenning.I saw it in the background flying around behind the news anchor.(I think it was Charles Gibson).Anyway, I though it was some type of police airplane at that point.Then it hit.Tragic!

I let a balloon go that was huge 2 feet diameter/huge tied a tag on it with my address.?

Also – stating when you find this email me…. I let it go in memory of two people. Then realizing how high the sucker went I began to panic…..

I’m worried because it flew way higher than the airplanes that go by then disappeared into the clouds.

Could it cause an accident?

Since Liberals say we should leave Iraq because of 3300 deaths?

should car companies be forced to stop selling cars because 40,000 americans die each year in accidents? thats about 160,000 since the Iraq invasion. That doesnt include motorcycles or tractor trailores. Then there’s also airplane deaths.
one’s again more stupid people. why would I mention Iraqi war deaths when I didnt mention Iraqi car accident deaths? or are liberals just used to questions being biased in their favor?

How does God decide which prayers he’ll answer with ‘yes’?

It would seem that he sometimes OKs a good outcome for Uncle Bob’s heart surgery and even takes a minute to save someone from a traffic accident or a doomed airplane once in a while, but says ‘absolutely not’ to ending things like genocide and war.

How does he decide?

Do you think Billy Mays was murdered?

They say he bumped his head on a rough airplane landing but do you think someone is using this to cover up a murder.

Or is this another tragic accident like Natasha Richardson’s ski incident.
